Diabetes & You, Cooking for Your Life! campaigns
 Publicity for the Canadian Diabetes Association’s fall 2005 diabetes forum for the Punjabi-speaking community landed a front-page, top-of-fold story in the Vancouver Sun, and extensive coverage in daily and regional papers throughout the country, and raised registration volumes beyond capacity. Two other educational programs for the Canadian Diabetes Association, Cooking For Your Life! and Diabetes & You, resulted in almost $37,000 and $29,000 in earned media coverage. Registration for each educational program increased significantly with waiting lists established in some cases.
