Michele has great contacts with the media, especially the health and medical reporters. She takes an issue and pitches a story with local angles to catch the media’s attention. She is in sync with the media community. Michele intently and thoroughly looks for creative angles and knows what stories will "sell".
Michele has provided CDA, Pacific with comprehensive media strategies to assist with marketing of major events. She provides lots of follow up with the media to ensure that CDA received maximum coverage for a campaign. She checked back with CDA frequently to assess how interviews went to discover any hitches and suggestions for next time. She also supplied us with frequent updates as to coverage she had secured as well as ensuring she received our sign-offs before proceeding on stories.
Michele has provided marketing and communication assistance to many different facets of CDA, Pacific including education, Clothesline, fundraising for research, advocacy, and our members' area newsletter.
