Tapestry Foundation for Health Care
Breast Cancer Month Campaign
During Breast Cancer Month (October 2008), a media campaign promoting the pending arrival of state-of-the-art digital tomosynthesis mammography at Vancouver’s Mount Saint Joseph Hospital resulted in media coverage never before experienced by this new fund-raising foundation. Almost $43,000 in earned media coverage was garnered, including Global BC News Hour and Noon News, Vancouver Sun, Citytv, News1130, Omni Television, CTV and CKNW. Afterwards – and possibly in response to the media coverage -- Tapestry Foundation received its largest on-line donation ever!
