SMART media campaign
A March 2013 media campaign to introduce the Surrey Mobile Assault Response Team (SMART) to the media and general public resulted in more than $55,000 in media coverage, including Global BC News Hour and Noon News, CBC News Vancouver at 6, CHEK News at 6, Vancouver Sun, Province, 24hrs, News 1130 and Surrey Leader. The SMART program media coverage resulted in a 43 per cent increase in women and girls accessing the service.
Speak Up media campaign
A January 2013 media campaign to promote Speak Up, a Fraser Health program to help teens and young adults with mental health issues, achieved almost $47,000 in media coverage including Global BC News Hour, CTV News at 6, Province, CBC Radio Almanac, CKNW The Philip Till Show, News 1130 and WestCoast Families.
