Kelty Resource Centre Campaign
Summer 2008 proactive media campaign directed at four markets (Vancouver, Victoria, Kamloops and Prince George) to promote opening of Kelty Resource Centre at BC Children’s Hospital resulted in more than $81,000 in earned media coverage. This included Global BC News Hour, both the Vancouver Sun and Province, CTV Your Health, Vancouver Courier, Victoria Times Colonist, CBC Radio Victoria, CFAX Radio Victoria, CBC Almanac, CKNW The Bill Good Show, CKPG Radio, NL Radio, CFJC TV, Kamloops This Week, Kamloops Daily News and Prince George Citizen. Call volumes to the virtual resource centre increased significantly, achieving a primary campaign goal. Better yet, families across BC were made aware of, and given access to, this valuable resource.

Childhood and Adolescent Depression Campaign
Proactive media relations campaign to promote Jan. 24, 2008 childhood and adolescent depression forum. Almost $100,000 in earned media coverage was achieved, including on Global National, Global TV, CTV Your Health, CKNW Christy Clark Show, CBC Radio Almanac, Vancouver Sun and News 1130. Attendance at forum was maximized to capacity as a result of media coverage.

Antidepressant Skills at Work Workbook Campaign
Proactive media relations campaign in summer 2007 to promote Antidepressant Skills at Work workbook. This workbook was initially “soft-launched” to business leaders and media in June by BCMHSUS with no resulting media coverage. Calico Communications’ follow-up “hard launch” produced almost $40,000 in media coverage on Global TV, CTV Your Health, Citytv, CKNW Bill Good Show, CKNW The World Today, CBC Radio Almanac, and Vancouver Courier.
